Hi folks,

Just wondered if any of you have recommendations for audio units that work well with LumaFusion 3.0. I've got the Brusfri (noise reduction) plugin installed but I haven't tried it yet. When I do, I'll post my results here but I wondered if there were other recommendations. Thanks.

I'm a veteran of desktop plugins, but this is all new territory on iOS.

I'll be watching this thread with interest. Thanks.

Same question as OP.

I tested Brusfri (paid) and DLYM (free).
Both work.
With that said, DLYM allowed changing values both through the graphic interface and through the settings panel.
Brusfri offered only the user interface.
The process for Brusfri is not as intuitive if you don’t know your way around the app. First hit play and then press and hold the Listen (ear) button. Still works like a charm.

Copy-paste works!

I tested with Brusfri - works great.

I tested with Visual EQ Console - not so good (actually, a total loss).

From the sounds of it in the main general board, there are more plugins that don't work than do. I suspect LumaFusion still needs some polishing in this realm (fingers crossed the development team can resolve these issues).

Looks like 3.0.4 fixed the issue with the Visual EQ Console. Kudos to the team at Luma Touch.

I spoke too soon. It would seem on my iPhone 12 Pro Max that the UI component vanishes as soon as you play the audio - although not always - might depend on audio type. Not sure. It's certainly better now and seems to work on my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9" just fine.

Add - Looks like a 24p clip does not work correctly while a 30p clip does. May also depend on the type of audio encoding but this test was with LPCM 48kHz from Filmic Pro (both clips at 1080p).

Add2 - Nope - I'm wrong. My 24p footage was shot mono audio and that seems to be the issue with screwing up the Visual EQ Console. So as long as the audio is stereo (I tried 48kHz PCM audio from Filmic in both 24p and 30p frame rates) and it worked fine. Shot the same with the only difference being mono audio and the audio units UI for Visual EQ Console disappeared from LumaFusion.
