Hi,

My Lumafusion in ipad mini 4 now missing the audio waves after importing mp3 file from Google drive.
Previously by using existing royalty music that came up from lumafusion, the audio wave appear.
This also happen on my iPhone 7, after re-installing it the audio wave appear but I'm missing the all project and the LUT.

Please help how to resolve this without re-installing it.

I attach the screen capture of not showing audio wave.

Hello Bajukotor

That is interesting, I'm wondering if you have the waveforms turned off. Please look in the Global Settings panel, then at Clip Style, switch it to normal if it states No Waveform.

Let me know if this doesn't work for you.

Dear Admins

Do you have an update on this? I just imported an mp3 file, and there is no waveform. Interestingly, you can see the waveform on the trimmer.

See screenshot:

The audio was downloaded from the Artist Union website as I did many times before with other mp3 files with no problems.

Thank you
Tamas

Hello Tamas

can you tell me if you have waveforms turned off in your Global Settings panel? I don't see that you answered that question earlier.

I’m having a similar problem. I recorded audio on a separate device, then imported that to my Mac, where I cleaned the audio up in Adobe Audition and exported it from Audition to an .aif file at 48 KHz. I Airdropped that from the Mac to the iPhone directly into the “imported>sharingd” folder in LumaFusion. LumaFusion plays the audio just fine in the trimming pane, and plays it from the timeline, but does not show the waveform. I have “Clip Style” set to Normal (not “no Waveform”) in global settings. The video track shows its waveform; the audio track does not.

It’s a long project — the video track is 4K, 1 hour 4 minutes and 13 seconds in length. The audio file is a bit shorter than that because I trimmed it in Adobe Audition.

When I load this project into LumaFusion it takes about 20 seconds for the screen to respond to touches and sometimes only shows “(24.00 fps)” in the title bar, as opposed to the including the project title. Once about 20 seconds have passed, the title appears and the phone responds to touches.

I have edited similar length 4K videos on this iPhone. There’s plenty of room on the iPhone 8+ (78.77 GB available).

I need to see the waveform on the audio file so I can synchronize it to the video. What is wrong?

Just updated to version 1.6.5. I am currently running iOS 11.3.1 and will not update to 11.4 until Apple addresses the battery issue.

EDIT TO ADD: the audio clip does NOT show the waveform in the trimmer window for me, in case that wasn’t clear above.

I just went back to my Mac and exported the file as a .wav at 44.1, and LumaFusion sees the waveform just fine. Thought I should update. This may or may not be relevant to the OP, since I think they said that their files were the same format as files they’d successfully used before. But OP, perhaps you should check that your new files are at the same sample rate?

I get the same problem, but it’s random. Some mp3s show waveforms, some don’t, all within the same project.
